Tour Schedule

Below is our tentative schedule and itinerary. While we make every effort to stick to the plan, things happen. As well, you, as both a group and as individuals, may ask to vary our activities and site visits.

Please confer with us BEFORE making your flight reservations!
Arrive at least one day early in the event your travel encounters un-forseen changes or setbacks.

Exciting NOTE: On the journey to Lo we will visit a monastery that has never been opened to foreigners!

 

DAY 1 – Friday, May 5

Afternoon or early evening.

Meet at our hotel in Kathmandu (4593 ft)) to make certain we are all present and ready for the Tour! We will have dinner together.

 

 

DAY 2 – May 6

Visit Boudhanath Stupa

Lunch (included) near Boudhanath

Visit Thimi traditional village

DAY 3 – May 7

Visit Pashupatinath (Cremation grounds)

Visit Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple)

Trip Extensions

There are many additional activities and places one can go in Nepal.
One possibility is a trip south to visit the bodhi tree where the Buddha gained enlightenment.
There are also game parks for wildlife viewing.
Ask about these opportunities if you wish to extend your stay at either the beginning or end of the Tour.
